Becoming a Christian
Are you searching for hope, purpose, and a relationship with God?
The good news is that Jesus Christ offers forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope to all who believe in Him.
What Does It Mean to Be a Christian?
Being a Christian isn’t about following rules or traditions—it’s about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that we are all sinners in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23), but God, in His love, sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins and rise again, offering us salvation (John 3:16).
How Can I Become a Christian?
- Admit that you are a sinner and need God's forgiveness. (Romans 6:23)
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again. (Romans 10:9)
- Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and trust Him with your life. (Romans 10:13)
If you’re ready to take this step, you can pray a simple prayer from your heart:
"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I ask You to forgive me, come into my life, and be my Lord and Savior. Help me to follow You from this day forward. Amen."
